Thank you for your help with my blackwork chessboard. I ended up using the frame from your "Squares within Squares" and many of the patterns from those squares, too. Also got some patterns from "The Art of Blackwork Embroidery" by Rosemary Drysdale, and some I designed myself based on geometric tile patterns from St. Mark's Basilica in Venice.
